70% of my suitcase is occupied by electronics: between camera, PC, action camera and various accessories the space for frivolities and cosmetics is quite limited but how to do it then when you are traveling to take care of your beauty? After very long days of trekking or hiking, hours on a moped or on a quad bike, alarm clocks at dawn and good nights, also for us travelers comes the time to pamper us a second. How to do however if creams and scrubs just did not get in the suitcase? The ideal is to create last minute cosmetics with what we have at our disposal. I admit, several times I found myself on the road with cracked lips, dry skin and hair to throw away and several times I had to come up with something fast and cheap to solve these inconveniences so here are some DIY cosmetics and some beauty tips of the traveler:
Honey
Cracked or dry lips
The ideal would be to spread olive oil from time to time but of course buying a bottle of it would be expensive, so use if you can those single-dose sachets that often accompany ready-made salads or that you find in pubs. Alternatively the best ally is honey for scrubs and wraps
Sugar
SOS Impurities
A scrub is what it takes so run to the bar, order a coffee and grab an more sachet of sugar. Mix sugar with face soap and massage it gently, rinse and your skin will be new. Then use it on the body as well, combining sugar with the shower gel.
Milk
Swollen eyes
Great problem but nothing that can’t be solved. Often in breakfasts at the bar, especially abroad, milk is served, along with coffee in small packages similar to those of jam. Put it in the frigobar and let it cool, then dip some paper in the milk, and hold it under your eyes for 15 minutes, the eyes will thank.
Butter
Cracked hands
In this case nothing is better than butter, yes, what you would put on bread and that in hotels you find at industrial quantities, just spread it and massage well on your hands until full absorption.
