For our late summer stay in Menorca, we are guestsof the Hotel Princesa Playa,a 4-star hotel located in the west of the island, locality of Cal’n Bosh. The area where the hotel is located is a delziiosa area: there are many other hotels and resorts but also villas and apartments that are rented to tourists in the summer, for this you will meet many super markets, ATMs and other shops of various kinds. Very nice is the beach, the Platja Cal’n Bosh which is however always very crowded. In the area there are also many small restaurants, Burger king and a pleasant walk on a small pier.
ThePrincesa Playa hotel is a very modern structure: crossing the threshold of the lobby, the first impression is to be in a Californian-style hotel with large stairs and polished floors. The structure is really great, the rooms are located on two floors and revolve around the huge pools.
For those who have a room on the second floor of the property there are stairs but also the elevator (great so if you have children to carry with a stroller or for suitcases).
The room is very nice, clean and bright: there is a sitting room at the entrance with sofa, armchair, coffee table, a small desk and tv. In the large closet hides a kitchenette complete with herbal tea kettle and coffee. The bedroom is small and cozy: we find a double bed, a second TV, a large wardrobe and the mirror. The bathroom, on the other hand, houses a large walk-in shower and is equipped with a complete courtesy kit. Our balcony overlooks the large pool but a large tree always guarantees us some privacy.
Speaking of the swimming pools,at the Princesa Playa hotel you will find several: the large central that becomes gradually deeper, one for cervical massage and circulators, a small jacuzzi and a larger hot water.
Instead, let’s talk about the restaurant/breakfastroom of the Princesa Playa hotel, which we point out also offers half-board and all-inclusive packages. We have taken advantage of breakfast and we can guarantee that it is quite varied: from sweet to savory, a lot of variety of bread, to which is dedicated a real corner and sweets typical of the Menorchina tradition. You also find a wide choice of milk and yogurt and hot drink vending machines (of course forget cappuccino or Italian coffee).
It will not be difficult for you to park as throughout the hotel area you will find comfortable white stripes where you can leave the car for free.
Our opinion for this structure is absolutely positive, indeed we recommend this property to stay in Menorca and in general the whole area (Gran Vía Son Xorigue) which is really welcoming and tourist-friendly: in fact, you will find supermarkets, tobacconist, car rentals, pubs, restaurants, bus stops and of course the beach that is a stone’s throw away.
You can book the Hotel Princesa Playa, on BOOKING or on their official website.
