In Ibiza, everyone has his or her own place of the heart. For us that place is a beach, what we consider the most beautiful beachof Ibiza: Cala Llonga.
We had already talked about Cala Llonga in a post where we told you about the most beautiful beaches of Ibiza in the north-east but this time we decided to dedicate a whole article.
When we returned to Ibiza we had the opportunity to see many other beaches just as beautiful but we felt the need to return to Cala Llonga.
Located in the North-East of Ibiza, Cala Llongais a tourist area frequented mainly by tourists from northern Europe, more interested in relaxation than in the wild nightlife.
The streets of this area are never too crowded and busy, in the evening the restaurants are full of couples and families while in the morning, to be crowded are bars and supermarkets.
The beach of Cala Llonga, is a small cove of fine golden sand, protected by green mountains. The seabed goes down gently, the water is of a blue breathtaking and so crystalline to make the boats that anchor there mirror.
To enjoy this landscape are the residential complexes and the completely white hotels, a delicate pearl necklace that adorns the bay.
The sea of Cala Llonga is our favorite for snorkeling, we always have the mask (and the action cam) when we are there: thanks to a part of the bay completely rocky, it is almost impossible not to meet fish of various races and sizes, visible to the naked eye.
Another thing we love about Cala Llonga is the location: the summer heat is always bearable because the bay is rather ventilated, perfect for tanning without suffering too much heat.
In Cala Llonga you will find the beach equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, restaurants, bars and water games but you can stay with your towel on the shore and enjoy a beer and a tostadas. Restaurants and bars are not particularly expensive: for example, we love to eat the ‘dia’ menu in a tavern with a terrace overlooking the sea, the ‘Restaurante del Mar‘ restaurant: with only 12 euros per person we eat a first, a second, side dishes, drink and dessert.
Another restaurant that we love is Pandok, and we aree us crazy for e patatas bravas.
What is useful to know is that, just from this bay, from the small pier you can take a comfortable ferry to Formentera.
In short, if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the ISLA BONITA, Cala Llongais a perfect place and we assure you that soon, you will end up loving it, so much to miss it when you are away.
Soon it will also become for you” home” when you think about Ibiza.
