As every time, in our Eat & Sleep section you will find our reviews of facilities and restaurants we tested and of course, could not miss some advice about Tenerife. Let’s start at our Hotel Meli’s jard’nes del Teide.
We were guests of this property which is located in one of the most strategic and touristy areas to the south, the sunny Adeje coast.
Tenerife’s Meli hotelis one of the island’s dilapidated hotel facilities.
The parking lot of the hotel is not very big, maybe a little uncomfortable but all around there are many parking areas.
Within the multi-storey structure some areas are reserved for members of the Lével which has a separate reception as well as the dining and breakfast area.
There are two swimming pools inside the Melii hotel in Tenerife: a swimming pool of about 700sqm and a children’s pool. To these, however, there is a third pool reserved for Customers The Level.
You can still find Spa, Gym, solarium and many daily activities for young and old.
There are two restaurants plus The Snack Bar in the Pool, and the Blou Lounge open late into the evening.
Hotel Melii in Tenerife:the rooms
Our room is on the second floor and is really very wide and bright.
Even the bathroom is quite large and equipped with tub.
Worthy of bath products, beautiful in packaging and fragrant by Rituals.
In the house you also find a comfortable kettle with soluble drinks, magazines and fridges.
The room is soundproofed and gives you a truly restorative rest.
We always found our room perfectly tidy and impeccably clean thanks to the gorgeous and smiling waitresses who are really attentive to every detail.
Hotel Melii in Tenerife:Eat
Let’s talk about meals now. We were in overnight treatment with breakfast the to give you more info we also tried dinner, both buffet at the Mosaic Restaurant.
We were very satisfied with the breakfast: a wide choice between sweet and salty, fresh products, constant turnover and a special eye even for gluten-allergic people.
Automatic vending machines for drinks, porridge, honey and fresh fruit.
Remarkably disappointed by the dinner instead. Same breakfast buffet formula but with slightly less extensive choice. one hot dish, lots of tacos to fill with typical Mexican toppings. Meat and fish prepared at the plate that we mark as a positive note of dinner.
So to conclude, we do not recommend the full pension solution… quite try the restaurants of Tenerife.
The Hotel Melià in Tenerife also offers an Italian Restaurant “Casa Nostra” of which unfortunately we can not provide information.
Hotel Meli in Tenerife:the staff
Only positive notes to the staff who was always adorable with us. Always ready to solve our doubts, very kind helped us to prepare the travel itinerary. We recommend that you contact the guys in the reception for any need because they will always find a suitable solution.
The staff of the restaurant and the various bars are also very friendly and, although often busy and in a hurry, never denying availability and kindness.
Our opinion
Our rating for Hotel Meli in Tenerife is absolutely positive and we highly recommend it especially for couples and families who want to spend a relaxing stay and enjoy a beautiful view at any time of the day. However, we recommend that you have a rental car as it is not in an area that allows you to easily walk around.
Less recommended for those looking for movida late into the night.
You can book your room and find out more about the Hotel Meli’ in Tenerife on the official website.
