Francesco and I, since we have converted into full-time freelancers, we definitely have more time to travel, indeed we can work and travel at the same time! But traveling you know, it’s a nice and expensive hobby… But many people ask us, but how do you travel saving money?
In this article we explain some tricks and all the apps we use to travel saving some money.
Skyscanner
One of our favorite apps, Skyscanner is one of the most popular solutions for anyone who likes to travel but can’t spend too much.
Skyscanner shows you the cheapest flights for each day of the week… and here you can buy your flight to Marseille for only 20 euros! You can also turn on the bell to keep an eye on the prices of flights that interest you most.
AVOLOAVOLO
Absolutely the Telegram channel that you don’t have to miss to travel saving! Do you know how Avoloavolo works? Every day, lots of offers for flights, hotels and even crazy trips, trips that touch more destinations, at small prices.
Uber
Saving on taxy and often on the same public transport is possible, thanks to this App that has been depopulating for some time (except in Italy, sigh!).
We recommend Uber especially for the ability to share a ride with more people. In addition, when traveling with friends, the cost of travel is always amortized… you know no?
APP PER IL FOOD
We recommend that you download fast food apps in general (Mc Donald’s, burger king, etc.), always enabling geolocation based on the country you are in. Often, indeed very often, almost daily they send very advantageous offers. Great solution for eating on the go with very few euros.
AIRLINE NEWSLETTER
This is one of the tricks I have been using for a couple of years and that allow me to travel while always saving a little something.
I basically created a Gmail email address, which I use only and exclusively to subscribe to airline newsletters. In this way, as soon as there is an offer, a discount code I receive the email immediately and I can immediately give a sifting and if I can’t help it… Book!
