The perfect hand luggage

Sometimes it is the only baggage we carry with us, when it is a short route or a trip of a few days, other times it is the one that gets on the plane with us and contains our “Survival kit” in flight, it is hand luggage.

After a lot of traveling, we want to reveal to you what is never missing in our hand luggage that we also had to reorganize a bit given the emergency situation we are now experiencing and which sees some inevitable things not to forget.

When we travel with low cost airlines, for example with Ryanair, we choose the option of the small trolley of up to 10 kilos and a small bag, just like we did for trips to Zakynthos and Barcelona.

We use the trolley for clothes, shoes and beauty cases while the small bag allowed is generally a backpack for us.

Here’s what is never missing in this carry-on backpack:

1. Small but strong umbrella to put on the bottom
2. A sweatshirt (it’s always quite cold on the plane)
3. A case for electronic components such as:

• Mobile charger and powerbank
• External hard disk
• USB sticks and adapters
• SD cards
• Action cam and batteries
• Action bank charger
• Selfie stick tripod
• Ear phones

For the computer and the tablet we have an ultra-resistant fabric case that gives greater protection to our inevitable work and travel companion.

Documents and money

In hand luggage we always put the wallet and purse high up to have money and identification documents at hand.

We hardly ever print tickets to avoid wasting paper, but we use our smartphone wallet.

It is also important for us to always carry a bottle that we fill after the checks, buying water at Dufry or in one of the bars at the airport.

The last essential bag is that of the medicines it contains:

• Analgesic
