Do I travel with only a small trolley that needs to be light and hold everything? Surely you will already be great at preparing it on your own, but I want to give you a few more tips to make it even more functional, especially when it comes to the beauty case!
Female travelers don’t need a lot of products when traveling, but I want to be honest-not me!
I like to have everything I need to go out in the morning settled and “lookable” as if I were in my bathroom at home so, I found something that allows me to have a beauty case that is lightweight but has everything I need.
Make up for Beauty-case light
No, I’m sorry, I’m not one of those travel bloggers who doesn’t wear makeup, my skin is full of imperfections and I suffer from “chronic” purple under-eye circles. So here is what is my travel make-up that on clutters up all the space in the beauty case.
Base: I use foundation only in winter, in summer I gladly do without it but I found a makeup base that is 2 in 1 foundation+corrector, covering and long-lasting and it is this product from the brand Astra.
I don’t like powder so I mattify with a matte bronzer from Mesauda.
Eyes: I have found a very comfortable solution for now both winter and summer.
Highlighter stick, this one again from Mesauda.
For the crease of the eye I wear another darker eye shadow, while in summer, I darken it with the bronzer
My favorite mascara, PUPA VAMP, always comes with me while for my eyebrows, which are another of my existential problems in the facial area, I use the three-pronged marker.
Lips: girls: I can’t stand lipstick much, I only wear it at night and I use this Long Lasting ( very long lasting…it doesn’t even come off with makeup remover) by Maybelline.
For the morning, always just lip balm, which I prefer to keep in my purse and not in my beauty case, however.
Hair
On the trip I brought everything, GHD hair straightener, curling iron and I always have the same 2 problems:
- In summer I don’t use them because I end up being too hot
- In winter, iron, curl, pull and still…the humidity turns my hair into a mess
I have curly-wavy hair, I bought this Bigoodino accessory which is easy to use…sure it’s not sexy but the important thing is to have nice wavy and curly hair all day long and a lightweight beauty case.
Makeup Remover for Beauty Case
No girls, I hate wipes, they don’t remove makeup at all and mascara doesn’t come off.
The only really good solution I have found is a super cheap and really good product that I also use at home; it is a mousse micellar water from the brand Botanika that I also use as a facial soap in the morning.
I also always bring a small black towel because I hate for makeup residue to soil the white ones in the hotel (it also seems disrespectful to the maids who pick them up in the morning)
Need some face masks or scrubs to use on the go? Don’t be ashamed to have googled it, I o do especially in the summer.
